I treat patients like I would want my own family members to be treated; I care very much about how I make my patients and their families feel.

My goal is to work with parents as partners to ensure a healthy life for their children and to help guide them toward healthy choices. I truly love seeing children grow. I hopefully get to start when they are newborn鈥攖hat鈥檚 when you make a connection with the family. Then, when they鈥檙e toddlers and preschoolers and beyond, you play a role in their lives as you know they are counting on you.

Pediatrics gives me a lot of joy, knowing that a patient and their parents will probably sleep better tonight because I was there to help. As a pediatrician, I want parents to know how much I appreciate their hard work toward making healthy choices for their child.
